Hi Peter,
I agree Life’s Good..
This is true in most walks of life. Saying thank you when leaving a store register or saying thank you when someone holds a door for you is common sense but people don’t always do it. But it works for making people feel welcome.
You can obviously do it online too.
I like your way..
Nice job :)

Hi Peter,

This topic's a really interesting one and I like your approach. Like you, I have an account on most of these platforms and to date, my 'Google Juice' differs depending on my search.

'Donald Gee' returns a lot of information about a 19th Century scholar and BBC's 1970's actor... Can I compete with juice like this? 'Donald Gee enterprise 2.0' puts me at the top as i have made some comments on Sasha Chua's blog and she's very well connected. 'Donald Gee QUT' seems to be a big one for me giving me next to a full page of stuff.

My theory about this is that even though my name pops up in all instances, I realised (thanks to Jason's comments) I have different aliases in each case. What do you think about this?

Thanks for your tips by the way. I have started using Tweet Deck and things have started to get a bit easier.

Best Regards,

Donald

Hi Pete,

It's a bit surreal isn't? To realise that we can be googled...and that we turn up in a google search! I like the strategies you've proposed to increase your market share of google juice. I look forward to seeing how it all pans out at the end of the semester!

Haha great post mate.
I agree, the term Google Juice is awesome. I've been trying to get mine up but it's pretty hard when a fellow Australian also called Ben McCallum was in Big Brother. O well, I'll keep trying.
Anyway, keep up the good work. Love the site design. Look forward to future posts.

Life is good indeed!!! :)
I like the design of your blog as well as the concept of choosing/creating a 'strong image' for each blog post!
Good job!

Hi Peter,

This post is currently about number 18 under your name at the moment. You do come up as number 1... but it leads to a dead link on QUT wiki.

Your plan to move up the google juice ladder is well founded. Also consider commenting on as many blogs as you can (constructive of course!) as this will make people link to you you and links lead to juice
