21 Inspirational Web 2.0 Blogs
There are a lot of blogs appearing, many of which claim to be Web 2.0 based. On this particular journey of research I set out to identify
- relevant
- popular
- factual
- and most importantly sticky blogs
…those which keep bringing us back for their content. I had no preconceived ideas(except excellent from ones that I have visited previously), and intend to update this list on a regular basis, disposing of those which don’t satisfy my requirements. I have also set up bloglines to speed up the process of analysing posts
- slashdot.com The original technology blog, their byline “News for Nerds, Stuff that Matters”
- web2.socialcomputingjournal.com Dion Hinchcliffe’s Web 2.0 Blog “Social Networking designed for your business”
- radar.oreilly.com/tim/ Founder of O’Reilly Media group. “Tim watches the alpha geeks” to determine trends an serves as a platform for discussions of the technical community
- mashable.com The Social Media Guide, multiple authors with their finger on the pulse of current Web 2.0 technology
- techcrunch.com Coverage of new Internet products and companies, particularly those making an impact
- kevinrose.com Web 2.0 commentator and founder of Digg -recently wefollow.com, a Twitter aggregator
- toys.lerdorf.com He invented php, one of the backbones of many a Web 2.0 application, and is sharp
- technorati.com More a search engine for blogs, but quite valuable and rich in content
- googleblog.blogspot.com The Official Google blog (and their research is as cutting edge as most) giving an insight into new products and technology
- blog.wolframalpha.com/ Wodfram|Alpha is a “computational knowledge engine”, but basically tries to understand you search query
- blog.twitter.com Twitter.com is the phenomenon of the moment, and this blog tends to provide updated information for users
- gigaom.com/category/web Technology news, analysis and opinions
- blogs.zdnet.com “Where technology means business”
- www.socialtimes.com “Technically Social” focussing on social media and the industry
- failblog.org Because to enjoy life you need a daily laugh
- www.smashingmagazine.com “we smash you with information that will make your life easier, really”
- www.lifehacker.com.au An Australian perspective on international technology
- alistapart.com Usability for Web Developers
- enterprise2blog.com “focusing on social tools and technologies that help make companies more creative, agile and productive”
- technosight.com “living online and offline at the same time” coverage and analysis of web 2.0 startups, technologies, and trends

I hope you are inspired! If not feel free to give me some inspiration.
